We were brought in by Lux Monkey to deliver integrated motion graphics content alongside live action footage for Sure Football's Instagram of Brazilian International and Chelsea FC player, Willian. The final deliverables were social media posts designed by the agency. Our responsibility was to make the animation and live action work together seamlessly within that format.

The challenge was in the shoot itself. Time with the talent was limited and the handheld sport environment produced footage that is difficult to direct with precision. Getting clean, usable material that would integrate well with motion graphics in post required careful planning prior to the shoot.

To address this we were on set throughout,  working alongside the director and camera operators to ensure the shots captured were achievable in post production. With storyboards in hand, the whole team worked to the same reference point, giving everyone a clear picture of the final result and how to get there within the time and budget available. 

Our onsite involvement made all the difference in post. The footage came back achievable, the motion graphics integrated cleanly and the final social media content was delivered to the agency's design within timeframe.
