Returning to the Grosvenor Great Room for a third consecutive year to deliver all video services to the site for Ten Music & Production in partnership with Statom’s in-house team. The event, an annual celebrity ball, brought together an exceptional evening hosted by the Statom Group at Grosvenor House. As Tyson Fury and Craig David headed to the stage, six months of preparation and hard work was displayed into the early hours of the morning.
We entered this project in pre-production, brought in by Ten Music & Production to support the on-the-ground delivery of all event video at one of London's most prestigious venues. Our returning presence was a reflection of our reputation in live event broadcasting and managing the complexities it demands. For the broadcast, we supplied the video crew and (with the help of our partners at the Problem Solving Collective) full systems needed to run the records. A three camera cut captured the event as it unfolded — managed and delivered by a trusted team we brought in and briefed ourselves. The technical infrastructure was built around the demands of the room and the scale of the evening, ensuring the broadcast held up throughout the 9 hour record.
Statom's team was already in place and well-equipped to provide the show content. Our challenge was to work within their existing setup and to assist content delivery where it was needed, bolstering a powerful social media team to deliver for an event format. We overcame this by embedding directly within Statom's team through drop-in sessions across the production build. Focused support, delivered discreetly and entirely around what was needed to be delivered.
